Q: What if my child is absent or late?
A: If you know your child will be absent at least one day in advance, please notify us by sending a note to the child's camp director or an email to summer@gacamp.org. Otherwise, please call our Absent/Tardy Hotline at 215.646.3300 extension 521 before 9:30 a.m. if your child will be absent or more than 15 minutes late to camp in the morning. If your child typically arrives at camp in the afternoon, please call the Absent/Tardy hotline before 1:30.
Q: Do you have a lost and found?
A: Yes. Please contact the Summer Programs Office at 215.743.0481.
Q: How do I change a program that I have already registered for?
A: Please email the Summer Programs office at summer@gacamp.org with any changes to your account. There is a fee of $25.00 for each change after May 31, 2010.
Q: Are towels provided for swimming?
A: Yes.
Q: Is lunch available?
A: Yes. The lunch order form is found on the shopping cart page. You must be logged in to view the order form. Our menu can be found under General Information; just click on lunch.
Q: My child is leaving camp early today, where should I pick her up?
A: All early departures and late arrivals occur at a Summer Programs Welcome Center. Please send a note to inform of us prior to your arrival and we’ll be sure to have your child at the appropriate Welcome Center, ready for a timely departure. Refer to your Startup Packet or call the summer programs office if you are unsure about the location of the Welcome Center for your child's camp. For Day Camp and some sports camp, the Welcome Center may vary according the day's schedule.
Q: If my child is going home with another family does she need a note? Who do I give the note to?
A: Notes are required to inform us of any change in transportation. You may give the note to your child’s counselor, the specific camp director, or the summer programs office.
Q: I can't pick my child up at dismissal time; can I call the day of and arrange childcare?
A: Yes. Please call the office at 215.734.0481.
