Model Rocketry

Do you really enjoy building models and wonder how things fly? Then this rocketry camp is for you! We’ll spend a week learning the fundamentals of flight and applying these concepts to model rocketry. You’ll build one rocket from a kit to gain construction experience while learning the principles of stability (center of gravity and center of pressure), altitude prediction and measurement. You’ll then apply this knowledge to design, build and launch your own rocket. Open to students entering grades 5-8. Questions? Contact Sue Negro at susan.negro@gacamp.org
