This course offers math enrichment with a technological twist. Through extensive use of computers, games, manipulatives, and books, students will discover how math is an integral part of everyday life. We examine a new topic each week. Students will experience a geometric scavenger hunt, graph the outcomes of a pitched baseball, design an algebraic function machine and create a personal Math Curse book, modeled after the contemporary classic by Jon Scieszka.
