Counselors in Training

A program designed to teach responsible teens the essentials of becoming a superior quality leader, employee, and camp counselor. CITs participate in workshops and discussions to learn about basic child care, behavior management techniques, camp organization, activity planning, and job application and interview skills. For a portion of each day, CITs gain valuable hands-on experience while working in a troop under the guidance of our professional camp staff. This is a selective 6-week program, and enrollment is limited.  CLICK HERE for application materials.
 
Candidates must be aged 14-15 and completed at least 8th grade.
 
The dates of this program are June 21-July 30.  Candidates must be prepared to participate for the full six weeks.
 
Time: 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
 
Cost: $1000
